And very pretty it is too Mark! I love the soft colours.
Water is such a wonderful medium - always changing.
I have been AWOL for 2 weeks on a holiday -some photos of which I will post when I get organised.
Yes, it is a lovely scene with the mists.
Now, on the subject of being organised, well, that is something I do have trouble with.

Chevvy - However did the Forum manage without us? The photographic quality must have dropped right off! LOL.
BTW Enjoyed the Richard Kraus link. Next to roses, trees come pretty close.
Mark, your series of photos at "the bend in the River" reminded me of Kraus and his books of The New Forest I have.
Looking from the first photo here, its very interesting to see the detail which stands out, in each shot - and how it varies! according to the season AND light! The "Patch" of orange and green autumnal colours on the far river bank wuold have caught my eye & camera too!

Lovely set of photographs, Mark! You've found a good spot there. I like them all for the different light, maybe the morning shot especially, but they all have quality from the variation in light.
Glad you're enjoying the 50-200. I left the 300 2.8 at home when I went to the USA, and the 50-200 did a very good job, and with the EC14, I did't really miss the "Beast".

I checked out The New Forest link - Kraus spent a year in it capturing the seasons, an interesting project I suppose.

Welcome back Cathrine! all of us have missed both you and your valuable inputs, I'm sure. It is a relief to know that you weren't blown off the map by a tornado or swept away in a flood... but we do need to see the pictures!
The 50-200 has now been fitted to the E-520 and the 12-60 has all but converted the E-3 into a fixed lens zoom.
And thanks for your thoughts on Bend in the River.
Thanks for missing me, Mark. I survived the wonders of the canyons, didn't you see the Antelope canyon pic I posted here? I'll link to some more when I'm back home from our weekend and I'm not on the mobile.

Yes Cathrine, I did see your Antelope Canyon pic posted here and left a comment. I also checked out your interesting blog.
