My OM-1 looks perfectly fine. I never change my lenses outdoors though & face the camera down between changes too. -
I hadn't realised how much potential difference there was with stainless steel & aluminium until you highlighted it here.

That can be my problem for me too, especially if a 'son-in-law' borrows or tidies up.

For me, I would buy that, because it isn't unusual for me to want an odd screw for the occasional repair etc. I have buckets of odd screws I have kept...
