At this e-group.uk.net site, owned and operated by Ian Burley, we sometimes collect personal information for specific purposes, including registration details from people choosing to register for membership of our discussion forum.

This privacy policy relates to membership of the forum.

To the best of our knowledge we are fully compliant with EU GDPR law and our policy is to honour our responsibilities with respect to GDPR.

This site depends on the use of web browser cookie data to function normally. If you do not permit the use of cookies the website will not function properly. If you do not permit the use of cookies we recommend you terminate your membership, if you have one.

Your membership of the e-group is for use of the forum; we will not use your registration details for selling goods or services to third-parties.

The site is funded entirely through donations, advertising, sponsorship, and third party affiliate sales commissions.

Some fund-raising is done through our online shop, but this is entirely separate to the discussion forum and its membership.

Personal information relating to donations is not connected to forum membership. While we have access to this information we will not use it for any purpose other than acknowledging to donors confirmation of, and thanks for their donation.

We are not party to any identifiable information relating to specific members' purchases via our affiliate sales partners unless volunteered by the member or members. No such information will be shared by us to third parties without consent.

It is not usual for us to wish to pass on such information anyway, though if we would like to, our policy is always to ask for permission beforehand.

It is our intention to fully adhere to any responsibilities in relation to the protection of your data and your privacy. Public display of member profile and other member-specific registration information can be fully customised by members via ther personal forum profile and account tools.

Those who decide to end their membership of the e-group, or who are deemed no longer welcome as members, are guaranteed that their profile and registration information will be deleted.

Regarding photographs submitted for inclusion in our discussion forum, we claim no ownership or usage rights to the use of these images beyond their display, as the owner intended, on the site.

We do state that all content displayed on the discussion forum are copyrighted by the E-Group site publisher, Ian Burley, but solely to protect this content from being used without authority by third parties.

If we wish to feature any of these images elsewhere on the site or in conjunction with third parties, permission will be sought beforehand.

Advertising and editorial content

The e-group site is intended for a family audience and we will not intentionally permit any content or language that is considered specifically for an 'adult only' audience, although we do permit the posting of artistic nude imagery.

If you seek any further clarification of our privacy policies, we welcome enquiries and will do our best to answer them. Please contact us via our feedback page if you feel the need to.
