    Spotted this in the grounds of Akbar's tomb in Rajasthan recently.
    Anyone any ideas please

        Colouring is similar to our Jay , striking, Without Gregles ident I would have suggested a member of the Minah family, not so far out it seems

          When you see them in action the analogy with our Magpie is striking. Size and shape are similar, except from coloring the difference is they are more bound to trees with palmtrees being the preferred species. But like our Magpies they are real opportunists and can be found anywhere food can be found.

            Thanks Folks, I didn't go equipped stecifically for wildlife photography, so there may or may not be more to follow, depending on how they come out, as I progress through the holiday snaps.
            I'm trying to work on alternate days from India & Albania; must get them all done before we head for Uzbekistan
