My PL 9mm came yesterday and finally got round to getting it out to see what it could do.
Very lightweight, weighs in at 130g and size is approximately that of the Olympus 9-18
All plastic construction with a metal mount and is dust, splash, and freeze-resistant.
Large manual focus ring which turns nicely, no other controls on the lens.
Comes with end caps and petal shaped hood, current retail price is £449
Not been an ideal day to test it with such harsh sunlight and strong wind causing the trees to flutter wildly.
Also not great for the tester, currently showing at 33.9c on my shaded weather station sensor.
My initial impressions are pretty much distortion free which is obviously corrected by software.
Colour and contrast are good and centre sharpness is good wide open, softer at the edges as you would expect.
Stopping down doesn't show any dramatic improvement, from my limited tests I think f4 would be about the optimum.
My main reason for buying this lens is for use in dimly lit interiors and low light work at dusk or dawn.
I also noticed how good it is when close focused, MFD is apparently 9.5cm which sounds about right to me.
Think its a keeper, will fit nicely with my 12-45 when travelling light, not going to take up much extra room in the bag
First test shot which I think shows the lack of distortion and detail capture despite it being greatly resized to download below

Second one wide open and close focus
