Bought a tripod and head in a charity shop for a silly low price.
Kept the tripod and sold the head, took the cash I got for it back to the charity shop. Just felt the right thing to do, daft maybe, but can't change the way we are.

All's fair in love and eBay!
I once bought a Fuji XE1 on eBay at a good price because the seller said the flash wasn't working. That didn't bother me since I rarely use on-camera flash anyhow. It turned out that the reason the flash wasn't working was because silent mode had been set which disabled the flash!
On the other hand, the camera smelt like it had been left in the smoking room at Heathrow airport for a few months. It took a long time for the pong to subside and the strap never lost the aroma at all - even after being hung outside in the fresh air and the sun for over a week!

So, it's here and quite frankly looks damned good. Thought the case was glued on, at first, until I noticed underneath....

I attached the first lens I could get my hands...
But what the bloody hell is this?

And popped out for a couple of quick snaps in the local park, as we lost the last of the good light...
Discovered when I got home that the previous owner was a JPEG man. No raws.
Black and White 2, apparently. I can't say I'm a fan of the vignetting so will switch that setting off. SOOC.

WFH day for me, tomorrow. If the sun is out at the right time, my lunchtime constitutional will be to Salford Quays.
