  • Lidl Power Bank

I was in Glossop Lidl yesterday, with a 10% discount coupon.
One of the Middle of Lidl offers was a Tronic USB-C Power Bank 20,000MAH with PD charging facility, reduced from £19.95 to £14.95, so with the 10% discount, an apparent bargain.
I've just used it to re-charge my E-M1x, so all looks good.
They have had two other bargain power banks in the past, both of which seem to work well, but are really for mobile phone use.
None come with a charger, but I find that the little Samsung ones off eBay work well
I have several of these, but there are other vendors https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305310029614

As an aside, why are power banks advertised as 20 thousand mega amp hour, rather than 20 amp hour or 20,000mAh ? :-)
    Edit to correct typo

Shouldn't be "20 thousand mega amp hour" if it is "20,000mAh" (which is milli-amp/hour).

Yes I know, but the box says 20,000MAH
I was hoping to power the house for a while, but I'll have to settle for the camera. :-)

      🤣🤣
Without being racist, it was probably made in .........
Some good things come from there but others, well, not so accurately specified.

20 Ampere hour. I don't understand why the industry has to use mAh, perhaps all the zeros look more impressive.

I guess it dates back to rechargeable AAA NiCads etc, when you could get 250, 350, or 500mAh
Working...
