When shooting this artillery gun firing, I had no idea if it was 1 second away or 5 seconds away. I was trying to judge when to use the pre shot buffer. I typically half press and occasionally release and re-half press in order to clear the buffer. Holding it half down in anticipation constantly, although would cycle through only capturing the last pre shot number (as set in settings - 7 I think) would surely fill the buffer and slow down the camera at some point. I hazily recall once or twice finding that when I full pressed it was very slow to take the shot as the buffer was full (I assume).
How do you all handle this in practice?
Also this idea of using procapture for anticipating a shot made me think of my street shooting. I think it could be a great way to capture the moment before I’ve realised there’s a moment. But I don’t need my high shot count settings for street, maybe only 1-2 pre shots and 1-2 post. Do you know if I can change procapture settings to assign to a c mode? Eg leave my high shot count for my sports on C1 and assign a lower shot count pro capture to C2 for street?
Before I dive down the rabbit hole this weekend trying it all out I thought I’d ask!
Thanks all
