  • New to the forum

I've been on the MU43 forum for a while and it was from there that I became aware of this, the Olympus System Talk UK forum. I've been looking in for a while, and it's clear to me how polite and tolerant people are, so it sounds the sort of place to be. Plus there's an improver section where I may be tempted to post some of my pictures for critique and tips for improvement.
Incidentally, the user name I've chosen has nothing to do with my camera choice or any affiliation, it incorporates certain letters from my surname, that's all.

I'm glad you cleared that up. We don't want any fifth columnists here. Welcome to the forum. I am sure you will feel completely at home here. I look forward to seeing some of your work.

Hello and welcome, which particular bit of Lancashire? I was brought up in Chorley myself before moving across the Pennines.

Thank you banjukes. In actual fact I've had a really good start, by chance I saw that Brian Vickers was selling a very nice Oly 12mm, which I've now purchased. But the reason for joining was primarily to be with like-minded individuals who enjoy photography, and to get help and guidance along the way.

Well worth a visit, you might want to check their website for when you are able to get into the chick rearing pens wellworth going for.

If you don't mind going a little further go to Leighton moss well worth a visit.
