Hi,
another new chap.
I got into the 4/3rd's scene quite fortuitously as I had a chronic RSI problem and my Nikon D300 was getting way too heavy to use. Bought an E-420 twin lens kit in a sale to use in the interim as it felt nice and light, and later an E-510 as the 420 turned out to be a bit small for my tastes.
I've now rounded out the kit with the 70-300mm and the 25mm f2.8 (which I use on the E-420 as a walkaround camera) and couldn't be happier.
Main interests are outdoors photography (landscape/nature) for which the lens selection seems well suited.
I'm really impressed by the quality of the 'kit' lenses in everyday use and am not convinced that I need to buy any more glass, though I am kind of lusting after the 12-60mm!
The D300 is now gone and although I miss some of it's features I don't miss the weight at all!!
Sid
