And Gavin Hoey wasn't on the OM System stand either - he was handily just opposite on the Godox Pixapro stand, though using Oly/OMS kit in conjunction with Godox flash setups.

As requested at show by Ian.Taken with OM1+100/400+1.4tc,high ISO busy background,low light,dot sight hand held ,lens OIS only,focus limiter on 50 meters max,pro capture SH2,large focus area,bird detect on.Not perfect but considering distance away and conditions I am happy with results.Sticking with OLY as Sony does,nt have pro capture,( yet)I pad processed.
Kingfisher at full speed,at local fishing pool.Banbury area.

I went on Sunday, put camera and lens in for cleaning, went back at about 4.15, still not done. Mark Thackara apologised and I went for a cup of tea, came back and waited a few minutes then it was done. 10 out of 10 for the work those techies did, they must have worked hard all day. Only got a few phone shots, shame I didn't meet anyone from here, always good to put a face to a name.

Didn’t make it this year for the first time in a while (and ignoring the Covid years of course!). I had planned to go on the Mon, but there was some funeral on that got in the way. Did I miss much?

They uses to have a comic con event at the NEC that coincided with the photo show.
Provided some good photo opportunities and those in costume enjoyed the interaction too.
Got some photos of their visit too when email details were exchanged,
Don't think it happens anymore, shame because it was a nice bit of added interest.

Went yesterday, Tuesday. Quieter than expected. Picked up some nice freebies and some good stuff from the Disabled Photographers stand which is always a must visit. Me and my friend made the mistake of looking at pre-loved Oly 4/3 gear on the LCE stand and despite swearing not to, he ended up with a mint, boxed E410 and me with a mint E620 plus two lenses, battery holder and cards. No charger but not a problem since it uses the same battery as the EM10 mk 2 which I already own.
