June 2023 Photographic Challenge. Subject; Song Title
In 1st place, we have TravelingtChick with Thunder Road 14 votes
Congratulations Celeste, a moody photo to say the least.
A close 2nd place goes to Scottwin Why does it always rain on me? 12 votes During the fortnight's voting period, Scottwin and TravelingChick battled it out. Well done Scott, and hope you had your brolly handy.
In 3rd place, R99C99 I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do - ABBA 6 votes. A really nice photo Robert. My personal favourite!
So, congratulations to the June Challenge winners. All points go towards the E-Group photographer of the year (2023).
In 4th place=, MJ224 In an English country garden (My secret was that it was actually taken in Wales), and Dennis Russ FAGAN---'You got to pick a pocket or two' Oliver Twist-- 4 votes. Self-portrait Dennis?
Next, in 5th place=, Dave in Wales The 'Bee' song.....Arthur Askey. My eyes were fooled for a minute, well seen and taken Dave. blu-by-u Leaving on a jet plane - Peter Paul and Mary, on one of his many excursions. Nice Henry. 090657 Child in Time` Deep Purple from Deep Purple in Rock. Lovely photo of a babe with a runny nose. IainMacD Gimme Shelter, a Rolling Stones fan I see. Tram gave us Ferry Across The Mersey, A Gerry & Pacemakers song. My boyhood favourite band. All with 3 votes.
6th place brought GSMW Colours - Donovan (1965). A clever photo with a deep perspective. 2 votes
7th place=, Steveee I think this was a song from a popular beat combo, back in the day. A really nice evening photo with plenty to look at. And a Beatles song too. Bikie John When an Old Cricketer Leaves the Crease, a super song by Roy Harper. Look it up, its worth listening too again. BDennis Rawhide Theme, wow you remember that far back Bill! The figures look very relaxed! Keith-369 'It Takes Two', Marvin Gaye and Kim Weston, 1965. You are right there Keith, alway two! Blende 8 The Long and Winding Road, I hope there was no traffic around at the time. Nice perspective though. Finally in 7th place, OM-User I do like to be beside the seaside. A typical English seaside photo, with stones on the beach, and everyone wearing woollies. Well seen anyway. All with 1 vote.
In 8th and last place came wornish Yellow by Coldplay. A good photo, obviously no Coldplay fans here. Sharing last place, shakeyHands Where Do The Children Play? Another good photo, but just not enough votes to go around.
Finally, I must apologise to Bololoco. This was his first Challenge. For reasons that only HTML knows, I could not keep his photo on the screen. But his entry, Cat Stevens - I love my dog deserved many votes. So I apologise again and hope to see you in this month's Challenge.
Stats include 20 entries, 22 voters and 63 individual votes.
Thanks again for supporting the E-Group and its Challenges.

Very creative and imaginative collection of entries for this subject which made voting difficult. Congratulations to the well deserved winners
and once again thanks to Mark for his work with these fun projects.
