A few pics from a wonderful week visiting friends in Finland.
Most evenings we watched the sun go down behind a beacon way out on the horizon. Then one day we motored out to the tiny island it's perched on:


Back on the mainland, looking from the port - I can see "my" house from here. The boat is named for the village:

The little booth is a lending library. The far building has fridges outside it where, most mornings, you can find fresh fish for an honesty box donation. And the bicycle was a happy accident:
