Moonrise over the house, with the camera pointing NE. This was a frame from a time lapse (13 seconds, f/2.8, ISO 1600, 12mm using a 12-40 Pro on the OM-1). The clouds arrived and spoiled my quest for Orionids - and later, the lens misted over!
And pointing in almost exactly the opposite direction, our old friend...
OM-1, 50-200 SWD, @76mm, ISO 6400, 8 seconds exposure, f/3.1 ( I should have used the 40-150 Pro f/2.8 (or 35-100 f/2), but I was hoping to get the comet at 200mm
It was sinking fast and from my vantage point in the garden, the cables were unavoidable. This image is uncropped.
The joys of living in the countryside. Where I live in Frankfurt we're lucky to see a full moon through all the light pollution caused by the Airport, an oil storage area and a chemical factory complex all near by.

OM1 Mark ii, 8-25mm f4 Pro, 40-150mm f2.8 Pro, MC-14, MC-20, 12-200mm f3.5-6.3
We had a very clear sky last night, but after an 80-shot sequence at 13 seconds a pop, no meteors only planes and, what I think must be a satellite? I also stupidly ddn't chec the aperture setting, which was 3.5 instead of 2.8 (ISO 3200, 12-40 Pro @12mm, starry sky AF).
