Utah is chock-a-block full of beautiful geology. America's National Parks are a true treasure. We've now been to 320 of the 420 units managed by the National Park Service. Wish we could have been there in better light. Most of these were shot midday.

Great shots! One of the good things our Government has done over the years is setting aside these magnificent sections as National Parks and has maintained them which is not an easy task.Comment

That’s an impressive record of National Park visits. Are you planning to visit the remaining 100?!
I’ve only visited a handful on trips to the USA but I enjoyed them all. On most of my travels I end up somewhere at midday for photos, it does get frustrating but yours here have worked well I’d say.

I'm a bit jealous ... its one of my favorite places.
I have loads of 35mm slides that I took back in the early 00's and we visted again last year where I put my Olympus and OM cameras to excellent use

Thanks for the link! The landscape hasn't changed much, but we've been astonished at the number of visitors. Arches NP requires a timed entry reservation, and Zion Canyon requires a shuttle ride to access that part of the park. If we come back, we come later in the year - November? - and risk the weather rather than the people. Some tourists aren't as thoughtful as we would hope.
