Just got round to editing these from February 2021. A peaceful late winter walk around Ewelme on the edge of the Chilterns, finishing with a time-exposure of Ewelme Church. First E-M1.2 with 12-100mm, the rest E-M1.3 with 7-14mm f2.8. Must get back to doing more ground-based stuff!

Great photos, but can't work out the shadows on the church...., nor the halo around the gravestone...

Thanks Mark, it's a ground-based spotlight hidden behind the gravestone giving the rather spectacular shadows.Originally posted by MJ224 View PostGreat photos, but can't work out the shadows on the church...., nor the halo around the gravestone...

Ewelme is one of the most 'atmospheric' places I know and your photos capture that quality. Inside the church is the monumental tomb of Alice Chaucer, Duchess of Suffolk. In the peace of the place today, it is hard to think of the turbulent age in which she lived - her 2nd husband fought at Agincourt and was killed during the siege of OrleansMike
