Last year I finally got around to updating my very aged MacBook Pro. A key driver was I wanted to start to use a de-noise program of some kind which was better then that available in Capture One, which is my software of choice to edit pictures. I replaced the Laptop in November but only got around to purchasing the Denise software a few months ago and in the time since I bought it, I have little time to use it ! It's the closing date for my clubs next round of the POY in a few days, so a panic for images to enter. Thought I would give the noise reduction a try on one of the images. This is it. I picked DXO Pure Raw 5 at the time it was on offer. This image was taken with an OM-1 Mk 2, which I upgraded to from the Mk 1 in May but which, OM-Systems replace for me a few weeks ago, because it was buggy ( excuse the pun ! ) and the Olympus 300mm f4 with the 1.4 TX. Hand held at Dunham Massey. F7.1, 1/1000 sec. Returning to the problem with camera. I have exclusively used Olympus gear since 2007 and never had anything go wrong. The company and my local dealer could not have provided better customer service. I wish all my retail experiences were as trouble free.
