This juvenile Grey Butcherbird & parents broke out into song as they sometimes do when we have a shower of rain, however it was just our sprinkler they seemed to want to sing about this time. The adults were out of sight higher in one of our trees.
I decided to just upload the straight jpeg files out of camera, Natural setting, Aperture Priority, Bird ID etc (OM-1 with M.ZD100-400mm f5-6.3 IS lens), just resized & sharpened for web display.
This was only cropped to 1:1 for composition.
Here is a video, two clips joined, the first was All AF Targets, hence the bird is out of focus, but I wanted to include it with their song, especially since it flew off in the second.
All taken on OM-1 with M.ZD100-400mm f5-6.3 IS lens with no editing (apart from resizing & one crop in OM Workspace). Sure, the images could all be improved & made to look slick if I had put the RAW files through Topaz Photo AI & Capture one, but I wanted to show them as they were SOOC.
