Solar Eclipses

In view of the coming LUNAR eclipse, I am thinking of what's will I need if it's a SOLAR Eclipse.

I googled and it ways an ND100000 filter. Or a solar film made of PET and aluminium. Can I take sunspots with it? as the next solar eclipse will not be in my part of the world till February 2027.

I can't equate the ND values, but my sun photography uses a Baader Filter. I made it up from a sheet of Baader film.

As said, I can't equate what the ND value of this film.....be careful...

N.B. I also bought a TAL telescope years ago, which I've never used, which came with a supposed solar filter to go over the eyepiece.
Never going to use that as any issue will point focused sunlight into the eye; the film goes on the other end of the scope, so even a pinprick allows little extra light through.
