a mix of OM1 and 1.phone shots from this mornings storm Kathleen 34 foot high spring tide . some shots enhanced .. a 30 sec. dash out of the car to grab a shot was pushing the limits at times the black object in the water in front of the picnic benches is a wood bench ,one of 3 where I sit for my low level gull shots . at least one of the three was last seen heading downtide for Dublin the castle moat with the geese is normally a grass play area

Interesting - I thought to myself that some of these shots weren't up to your usual standards - some halos, for example, but these were the ones taken on an iPhone - explains it all.
Yea the only camera shot was the oystercatchers Ian .. and that’s a sky replacement one .. .total mayhem up here . New £20 million pound seawall at west Kirby got overtopped and just held the water behind it , loads of cars washed away .. someone’s gonna get told off
I suspect that the water colour was caused by Guinness having been swept away from the brewery in St. James Gate in Dublin and diluted in the Irish sea.
