    Fish, no chips - supper in a flash!

    Hello -

    Bright and very breezy today, so started with a brisk walk along the canal but then decided to try our luck and hang about at supper time for our resident heron. Patience rewarded -

    1. I'll just stand here very still - pity about the wind blowing my feathers about!



    2. Ah, there's one, quick!



    3. Got it!



    4. Now to get back to the bank!



    5. Almost made it!



    6. Touched base. Now a quick turn round of my prey and hey presto - supper as ordered!



    All taken with E-30, 70-300 mm lens.

        That was a lovely lot of captured shots. Were you auto or manual focusing?

            The pix were taken in A mode (aperture priority) at F5.6, ISO200, -1.3EV.

                Each shot stands up well on its own, but as a sequence it is really superb!
