    Still needs a little more practice, but its not bad by any means,,,,,,,,,,,,:-))

    Birdy photos need fast shutter speeds, minimum of 1/1000th...…….

      More practice needed, but I was pleased the eye was in focus!

    I would have been tempted to pan using high speed sequential at F4 at ISO 1250 rendering a higher shutter speed.
    To avoid over exposure of the light plumage, I would also have set the Exposure Value at minus .07
    F4 also renders nice background bokeh. That said, Foto Fair isn't a critique board so I am out of line.

      I don't mind the comments. This was High speed sequential, and the exposure was dialed down. I can always try again with higher shutter speeds and different aperture - thanks for the tips.

    I'd have been pretty pleased with that shot, well done. I've certainly done a lot worse!. Panned BiF is not an easy thing to do and does need practise. I do think you could improve it a bit with some post processing though to possibly darken the background to make the bird stand out more.

      I did some work to darken the background but I agree I could spend some more time on it. It is still a bit messy.
