Those are beautifully sharp Mark. I am looking at them on my iPhone on the train on my way home from work. What lens were you using?

Hi Larry, 40-150mm pro. Totally chuffed with the M1. Great ergonomics. Does the 1.2 firmware need updating?

2.3 is the current version. Are you in the club?

What does updating to 2.3 do exactly?

              Re: Bathtime

You need to have a look at the Oly website Mark to be sure what each update will do but one of them certainly added the small af points that were missing from the early Mk2 cameras but were on the Mk1. If you don't have the small points then I'd certainly update it. I'm sure there were other good improvements too but can't remember them all now.

                The EM1mk2 owners club...

Worth updating as there were massive improvements in the auto focus system overall.
Also there were SD card issues and "locking ups" that were solved.....

A further point to note is the base ISO is 250 in the MK2 and gives the "best" dynamic range...

I opened this link with trepidation.

I thought that I'd see an 80 year old Aussie in a bath!

Mark, as I said over the phone and looking at some of the other replies here, I consider it wise to update the firmware to the latest version. Some bugs / inconsistencies have been fixed and the overall operation of the camera is better and smoother. For ongoing support, you will have to reinstall Olympus Workspace.

Interesting comment Beagle I didn't realise the Mk2 base iso was 250. I thought it was 200? can you expand on that please.
