Part I: One Bridge, Five Days - An Unplanned Mission
I just decided last week to capture the same view everyday for a week, plus it's a good one to start the day for BBC Weather Watchers! I've had 5 Editor's Picks from there in the last 3 weeks!

Amazing set. I just like the whole collection as a comprehensive study of the subject.

Penultimate pictures from last Thursday. A nice bright morning so did the longer walk to see the old bridge too. One of these got used on the BBC Points West Weather Forecast that night.
My TV Picture:
The original Severn Bridge, and the smaller bridge over the Wye:

I do like shooting over at the bridges Amanda and you've captured some great ones here (better than any I've ever managed).
My best memory of the new bridge was many years ago when construction had just started. Was out on a bike ride with my best friend Brian (Belfast born and bred). We stopped to look at what was going on and we noticed the field directly in front of us had a lovely little bungalow in the middle. The field to the right was full of Portakabins and caravans the construction workers were living in. His immediate response was 'Och, when they bought that bungalow I bet they never expected to be living next to a field of Navvies)........

Thanks Steve and skids. It is a lovely bridge except when it's windy and they implement a bizarre traffic management scheme that causes a jam on the A403! skids, there are some houses still right alongside the bridge, about 4 I think. It can't be very peaceful!
Theses are the shots from last Friday when it was raining, plus couldn't resist adding a few of the sunrise on Monday (last ones for now, I promise)!
Looking back to Severn Beach:
Well timed geese!:
Setting Worm (or Crow) Moon:
iPhone Panorama to show the bridge and incinerator plant in context (I work just opposite it )
