There are also bushfires in Gippsland (Vic) & WA that was started by lightening & with 100km winds there are now unfortunately 4 dead.

Bad news from WA fires and it seems there are also fires in SA and Victoria. 32 degrees here today. I have finished gardening as it is getting hot rapidly - about 24 at 1000.

It'll get to 33 degrees here today with it peaking on Friday at 38 degrees which will be 41 in Penrith (outer west of Sydney). At least they're not forecasting any strong winds with it though. The ground is still soggy from the last lot of rain but with these temperatures it won't take too long to dry out.

The forecast for Saturday is 34 degrees (Farenheit =1c) with SNOW.

We had our first snow on the mountains this week followed by wind and torrential rain. You are welcome to it Mark just send half of your weather in return!

That adds up to a real **** day with the chance of a dust storm and lightning fires being fanned with strong winds. They will most likely happen in the unpopulated N/parks

They've forecast it to be 36 degrees here but the Weather Display Live station is located on top of the Sport Centre (club) building in the middle of Springwood (adjacent to the railway) & usually shows it to be couple of degrees warmer on hot days & it is showing that it got up to 37.0 so far but just now has dropped back to 34.5 degrees. I have bought my own mini weather station & I'll have to get it up (& hopefully the cockies won't chew it) to see what actually happens here at home.
