This is often called "The Christmas Cactus" but always seems to flower in November.

Took this with my 35mm macro - the flowers are only about 2-3cms across.
This is only one of the flowers - there are flowers all over the cactus which is in a pot.Comment

Harold - I only heard recently that the Americans have a "Thanksgiving Cactus" too. Fascinating species and you can tell their differences by the smooth or slightly spiked leaves.Originally posted by Harold Gough View Post
