Re: What a Fungi to be with.
Hello Dave,
Those are lovely shots and the flash has really helped to separate them from the background. I like it when it's a bit dull as you have less contrasty light and a bit of fill in flash usually gets good results.
I've not seen these fungi up here before but we have had some good ones recently.
Regards Jim.

The first shot is really fantastic which isn't to take away from the others, but the shiny cap is amazing.

I didn't use flash to take these pics, only the available light.
The E-M10 and MZ 60mm Macro were mounted on a Gorillapod and connected through Wi-Fi to my iPad, I then took the pics using the Olympus Image Share software, I was quite pleased with the results.

They show the excellent depth of field inherent in the m4/3 format. Focus stacking is going to be useful, but mainly I suspect for high magnification work and for foreground to horizon sharp landscapes.Regards,

Each one is the result of focus stacking, all shots taken at the apertures I stated earlier, something I started experimenting with this week.
Looking at what can be achieved, I think the addition of in camera focus stacking will be yet another game changer from Olympus.
Thanks for continuing to look and comment.
