  • A couple of recent shots

It's been a lean time for my photography - combination of work and family. But, here's a few from recent times, plus a couple from my Oz trip in April that I didn't get around to processing - just so you don't all forget me!!

A very nice set, but, #no two for me, it is a pearler(pardon the pun), what a photo.

Well worth waiting for Paul, a lovely set.

I keep coming back to the first one, it has an ethereal quality that is captivating.

Great to see another of your "different" takes on the Sydney Opera House.

        Thanks for sharing.

The light on the top field is great,
and getting in close to a dewey web ... I'll have a go at that.

Yes - it was that that made me stop for a shot (another good reason to carry a camera with you always!). I took about 30 shots in order to get the lighting pattern and the position of the rotor right! Try that with film!!

The only thing that should get credit for the web shot is the 60mm macro. It's a very, very good macro lens. Combined with the IBIS, it's got to be the easiest tool for creating close-up shots. The focus stacking on the E-M10 (and coming soon to the E-M1) will be the icing on the cake!

As good as the lenses are it takes a good eye to spot the photo ops in the first place Paul. Lovely shots. I've tried a few webs in the past and know how tricky they can be even in the slightest breeze.
