Now I know that Lyn's hubby likes to bake a loaf of bread but the like of my pizza supreme is a treat he never placed before her!

Layered on a yeast leavened hand-crafted base with mixed herbs:
Tomato paste, Shredded hot Hungarian Salami, Silverbeet, Sliced tomato, Onion, Capsicum, Pineapple pieces, Stuffed olives
buried beneath a mountain of shredded Italian Mozzarella cheese and baked for 20 minutes.
Unfortunately three quarters of the finished pizza disappeared during the 1/17 Second it took to expose the image.
This is a very opportune post Chef Greenhill. As you know we are travelling in Queensland and at the moment having a couple of weeks at beautiful Coolum Beach - mainly because an apartment gives us flexibility to home cook and escape junk food on the run.
Neil cooked pizza last night with great difficulty - no pizza pan, rolling pin and a dodgy oven. However a roasting pan sufficed, dough (made with yeast) rolled with a beer bottle, and much swearing at the oven, produced a pizza of wondrous beauty and taste.
I knew I was going to be bested by my boast but glad to hear that Neil's ingenuity and resourcefulness paid off ... although your testimony would be greatly strengthened had you thought to picture that object of wondrous beauty and taste!
Hey Mark! Why don't you have a bit of pizza with your cheese?
I reckon my supreme pizzas would outdo yours any day!
Tomato paste, chopped onion, cabanossi, diced bacon or ham, sliced mushrooms, red & green capsicum topped with some grated cheese, not flooded with it! I only eat the olives (dark) if I've bought a pizza. I wouldn't be putting them on deliberately!
We also like a vegetarian version too. Tomato paste, onion, sliced tomato & basil or baby spinach leaves & cheese (light amount). This can be topped with mushroom & capsicum if desired too.
Anyhow, the T-bone steak dinner we had last night was delicious.

Like they say, Ross ... a picture is worth a thousand words!
I can see I'll be doing pizzas this week. You wait!

Are you Aussies going to follow this up with giant burgers? Like the 48oz steak burger you can get in some US restaurants....? Come on, you can do it
No. We leave that sort of thing for them in the U.S. They like everything to be the biggest & the best over there.
We'll just make our pizzas big & the best!
Actually, we usually enjoy a large steak sandwich (made with Turkish bread) once a year at the Conservation Hut (in Wentworth Falls).
And the chips with it goes down rather nicely too.
