I would have to say, "Eat ya heart out Mark!" That's so nice Lyn & the poetry just makes it even better.

I am eating my heart out Ross, this set is magnificent, Lyn - especially your opening shot with the anonymous figure seated on the bench.

I did an autumn shoot on Sunday and binned the lot. Today being wet and miserable I had a thought bubble, took off for the river looking for images.

I've just downloaded them, nothing exciting but will see what I can make a them later.

Thank you Ross. Windy, rainy and rough here today so it felt good sitting by the fire indulging myself with some poetry.

Too kind Mark - Thank you.
We knew rough weather was coming which will put an end to the autumn leaves, so shot over to the Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens. I had just read a tutorial on shooting as wide open as possible from low angles and much to Neil's amusement spent most of the time flat on my stomach in the leaves.
I am not sure if I have any keepers but may post one on LFI - you may have some advice.

              Wonderful scenes Lyn.

A nice counter to our spring.

Hi Peter, it must be a little strange looking at autumn colours when your spring is "busting out all over". . It has been a funny autumn here with many of the trees colouring up earlier than usual. Thank you for looking.

Hi Ed. we have just had a couple of wild, windy days so I think that is probably the end of autumn photos for this season. I hope you get a lovely spring.

Lyn it's certainly a shock to see those lovely Autumn colours as our blossom is just bursting out. Shame the winds and rain will cut the display short. Nicely captured set especially No#1 that little bench adds a nice touch of mystery.

I'm giving autumn a miss this year as there's no such riotous colour nearby to compare with Lyn's magnificent Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens! ( with envy)

Thank you Phill - it has been a difficult autumn. Many trees were early and we have had quite a bit of wind - unusual in our Adelaide Hills. Nice to enjoy the colour though when we know a drab winter is not far away.

I'm "on me bike" this morning with the BUGS (Bicycle User Group), I may even take an XZ which I can shoot one-handed on the move ... like my dubious car windscreen pics!
I'll ask Dianne, our leader; I call her 'Mother Superior' (sniveller that I am!), to take a pic of me in my spiffy new bicycle winter ensemble! !
