Yet another good example of how the 7mm should be used, nice composition.
(May I mention a minor point? The heater and vacuum cleaner are a tad distracting.)

I know, but the museum staff looked a tad scary so I didn't fancy my chances if I moved them!

Interesting shot; strange but the square plate with five screws and the doorway caught my eyes more than the vacuum.

That looks like a bit of reconstruction there.

It was the radiator that caught my eye! I think the radiator and Henry add to teh composition - give something for the eye to settle on.

De Gaulle, eh! On Pointless a contestant took the question 'who was the famous French general, born in Corsica in 1759?' "Charles de Gaulle." I know he was old, but......

Nice shot - leads the eye well.

I would agree with some posters that the radiator and vacuum cleaner are distracting in the image but I also understand that in public/historical sites this is the sort of thing that is beyond your control.

                Re: Spiral Staircase

I've come back for a second look before commenting as I couldn't decide about the "bits" at the bottom.

In a strange way I think I like them there, the radiator shows the vanishing lines of perspective, continuing that vertiginous plunge downward, the vacuum cleaner looks like a bright red beetle trying to climb out of the well

Yep, I think this is a cracking shot

My wife has just had a look and she agrees with you, she doesn't like the "Bits" (I must have a strange mind )

took this one in london in the monumental tower and you get a certificate for climbing the steps.

What do you get for sliding down the banister?
