          Brilliant image! It appears to show both trails - the dust and ion trails.

          I'd be interested in the technique. Is it a composite of 11 90 sec images?

            Yep Done in deepsky stacker but my flats are.off so much more.work to do

                  How nice is that! What did you use to keep track of the comet over the 11 exposures? I was having a look at this and had actually put it on my Amazon Christmas wish list (without result I regret to say ) :

                    So presumably it is some kind of motorised system that allows the camera to track the stars and then you add the images together? Do you have a shot of the setup?

                      I use one of these on a old tripod Polar alignment. Is the main problem. I like the look of the Vixen tracker.
                      I am at the beginning of this journey but I switch off noise reduction, take the images, the withe lens cap on take 10 or so images for dark subtraction, then flat frames and push it all through deepsky stacker.
                      I will reprocess the data to get better detail at some point
