Freighters, or Road Trains as they are also known, are part of the Outback landscape, they carry many different types of loads.
But how things have changed over the last century as the exhibits at the Ilfracombe Tractor Museum illustrate.

Mark, that first "Rig" is AWESOME and I would just lurvvvve to drive it and so beautiful on the eye (or maybe just a great photographic image ?) love your story and the information on history and evolution of your Aus Road Trains

It would Mark, Nick has 4 of them he has fitted in his refitted Supa Moto Home and they have 6" sprung mattress base (for heavy Truckers) so with the silk mattress toppers are dream comfy
