  • Just a snapshot, but......

Taken in my Mum's garden this morning with the ZX-1. This rose was planted 15 years ago to celebrate my parent's golden wedding anniversary. Today would have been their 65th, if Dad was still with us. We went out for lunch and shared some lovely memories of him.

Lovley shade of yellow, great depth to it. Nice shot.

A lovely tribute to your father, John. Yellow is such a difficult colour to capture, more so even than red, I've found.

That was so lovely having their 50th wedding anniversary remembered with the planting of that rose & now a wonderful way to remember your father & this photo of it is certainly lovely.

It is a gorgeous soft, full-petalled rose John.
                Do you know it's name?
Neil and I celebrated our 50th WA last month and I am at present researching a new golden rose to plant in our garden.

I'm not sure of the name but I'll ask my Mum, she might know.

An excellent capture of a very beautiful rose and how lovely to have a constant reminder of all the happy times your parents must have spent together.
