Re: Sorry, but the Moon looked good tonight!
Thanks mate. I've replaced it, so does it look better now (or should I try again)? I had just lowered the Gamma in the jpeg before which obviously wasn't the best.Originally posted by andym View PostYou could make a so much better picture of this with a bit of contrast and brightness adjustment.Ross "I fiddle with violins (when I'm not fiddling with a camera)". Well I'm blowed. We have a cheesy yellow one up here. Never knew yours was brown. Must be all that amber stuff.Originally posted by Ross the fiddler View PostBut it looks different from Down Under.

It looked more like white in the sky.Originally posted by bilbo View PostWell I'm blowed. We have a cheesy yellow one up here. Never knew yours was brown. Must be all that amber stuff.
We don't get a golden 'moonrise' that frequently & when it does, I don't usually get to see it till it's risen a little higher than the ideal, because of the hills & trees to east of us (& I'm usually cooking dinner then too).
I keep waiting for one of those & for the things that happen once every 'blue moon'.Originally posted by Ulfric M Douglas View PostYeah it really did look great, but BLUE 'round here.
