  • A Little Wattlebird debugging itself.

This is a Little Wattlebird sitting in a Banksia Integrefolia (Coastal Banksia) in our front yard & quite happily cleaning (preening) itself.

And another view that looked nice.

Now let's take a closer look (crop of above).

Taken with E-M5 & 75-300mm (Mk II) lens.

    Thanks for looking.

Awfully cute Ross. These shots have great character. I like them very much.

Beautiful little fellow supebly captured Ross.
This is one bird with which I am familiar due to their prevalence in Tasmania and my early success in capturing them woth the ill fated 70-300.

Thanks Lyn & Mark. I'm sorry, but I've only just realised I didn't reply to your posts.

I thought it was cute too.

The M.ZD75-300 lens can do pretty good too in a smaller package & is much faster focussing than the 70-300 & as you can see, the detail is there nicely with the right lighting etc..
