  • Clematis in the Garden

First signs of the Clematis making an appearance this year. Last year they bloomed much earlier, worth the wait though taken with the OM-D 60mm lens

        Re: Clematis in the Garden

I, too, photographed the clematis in our garden this morning but the result was not anywhere near as successful as your pic - the 60mm looks impressive.

Everything in our garden has been late this year - everything that is except certain plants, including the wild cyclamen, which completely rotted away after last summer's constant rain and last winter's harsh frosts which took out an acer and a rhododendron!

        Regards,
        Ann1e

I greatly admire your interpretive approach to photography Tom.

Your images provide a refreshing new way of seeing.

These are super shots, I love the closeups in 2&3.

The downside of this set is that it feeds my 60mm lust.

Chevvy I haven't been spying, honest thank you for the kind comment.

John, thanks for the comment, I must admit the 60mm has outstanding quality and is a joy to use. Buy one you won't regret it, it makes a great portrait lens too but be careful when taking photos of women as it is so sharp it can bring out too much detail so be prepared for some PP skin smoothing / softening.

OM-D plus 60mm Chevvy it's a fantastic combination plus the whole thing is splash proof so good to go come rain or shine.
