  • Anglesey

I took these yesterday and today, the first three are in the morning yesterday,

and these are at sunset (I know you guessed that)

These are from along the coast with Wylfa Power Station in the distance

I'd welcome opinions on any of these...

    Re: Anglesey

Nice set of images Brian, I really like the second to last lighthouse shot (No. 5) with the sun through the mist and the light shining - very effective and lovely tones.
I also like the foreground of the last shot too, but the dark band is quite distracting especially on this laptop which isn't letting me see any detail to tell what the band is.
Nos 8 & 9 are not my cup of tea, but the lighthouse is a fantastic subject, it does look like a tricky route to reach it!

A really nice set, Brian, of which No 5 is stunning!

Yes it's no 5 for me too that's really nice. I like the last one too but I'd crop the top part off to concentrate on the birds on the shore.

          Re: Anglesey

No1, No5/7/9 and last all stand out, I presume the dark bar in the last is sand, as there appears to be water above it?
A little work on that area and I think you could have something special.

            Nice imaged Brian.
The lighthouse in No5 looks great. Well done.

A nice set Brian, looks like you made the most out of the location.

                Re: Anglesey

A great set. The first shots of the lighthouse give a good impression of how exposed and bleak it is and how much weather it has to cope with. I love the backlit shore with the birds feeding, but as others have said, the dark band is rather a distraction. Is there any scope for lifting it up in post-processing?

                Ciao ... John

Very nice set I love No4 but I am not sure where the nuclear power station fits in.
