  • With a little help from your friends.......

I asked for a little help on the forum just the other night and once again got great advice from OlyPaul in the use of masks in Elements. The result was this photo which I am really pleased with

Thanks again to Paul for fantastic help and advice

Greg, that's an image that makes you sit up and go wow.
You have every right to be extremely pleased with the result.
I'm showing it to our household as I type, very much a thumbs up from here

A striking image which certainly has the "wow" factor, and it's done so slickly. Great job.

Absolutely stunning. No wonder it got Explored on Flickr.

Re: With a little help from your friends.......

                        Thanks folks

It all went a bit mad on Flickr with over 4,000 views and nearly 600 favourites - it is going to take ages replying to everyone

The pic is sitting at number 9 in Explore with views and faves still rolling in.

The "how to", is on the thread below, with screenshots and an explanation from OlyPaul

Discuss Olympus Master, Studio and Viewer software applications as well as third party programs like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Apple Aperture, and others.

I did exactly as he suggested and used a layer mask to get the final result

                        Cheers and thanks again

What Sponner wrote. Twice. Very envious.
