I'm on the same steep learning curve!

The close-ups are very good. My results are so much better in good light and like you we have had a splendid couple of days weather - long may it last!

These are all jpegs, I haven't been taking RAWs yet as I can only process in LR4.1 RC2 which is so slow it seriously annoys me! But I am very happy so far with the OOC jpegs and subsequent pp in LR3.6.

David these are excellent, you are certainly getting to grips with the E-M5.

Thanks Huw, I think I am slowly getting there although I have the disadvantage of having big, clumsy digits and the buttons on the EM-5 are rather fiddly - I am having to re-assign some as I'm often accidentally pressing the one I don't want!

Thank you all for your kind comments. I understand most of the EM-5 workings now but still can't get use to it's fiddly controls. Love the results but wish it was in an E5 sized package!

You might just have to change it for an E7 when it comes.

Are you trying to get me into trouble?

Nah. Don't put the blame on me if you can't help yourself & go & buy another camera. I had to confess to my wife a few days after I had ordered & paid for my E-M5, which hopefully, might, note, might come next week. Our guy Shane at Oly Australia believes all back orders should be filled by the middle of June. We'll see.

The ladybird is very, very nice, but the third one is simply superb!

                          Lovely detail and composition.
