  • Doctor Who?

    Aliens visit London
    1.

The Doctor and Ami Ponds about to board the Targis
    2.

Something fishy here - humans actually eat this stuff ... probably why they taste so good.
    3.

    Take us to your leader!
    4.

    Destroy! Destroy!
    5.

Before the Vampires at the Proms we had a score to settle elsewhere - with Javert !
    6.

(a.)The Screwdriver transforms into an imager sending data to the Targis. (b)A pod launches from the Mothership
    7.
Ami confronts a Darlec Cruiser on the Thames ...
    8.
Ok, OK ... I admit it's nothing more than an unabashed ego trip of brag shots that I delve into from time to time - that's what Time Lords do ... Who
So indulge me if you've perhaps seen one or two that I may have posted here or elsewhere once before - and besides, I am after all The Doctor

Me thinks you've been partaking too much of those pangalactic gargle blasters Mark. Or maybe just using the wrong "Guide" to get around London. Interesting to see the time delay getting these shots back to earth - I didn't realise Oz was that far away

Chuckling over your reply there, Phil - you're absolutely right, I sometimes wonder if he's losing / lost it!

Ha there Chevvy missed your thread - who beamed you up?
Seriously, I wouldn't have believed this thing had we not taken the cruise.
A remarkable piece of engineering to protect London from extreme high tidal surges we were told.

How much we Galactic hitch hikers depend upon Scotty!

Didn't know there was a London flood of past years, Chevvy. Thought the Barrier was just a precaution. I will google it to find out when.

              Presumably Greenwich copped it?
Fancy living at Greenwich - these badly scanned prints of yesteryear should bring back memories ...

No, I just thought you had finally bought yourself a rocking chair & were happily rocking away thinking of your past memorable days.

I have never been (yet), but one of my daughters will be in the middle of this year to meet up with her boyfriend & his parents. Ah well, my Aussie mother married a Pom (my father, of course) & maybe my daughter might too.

A nice little story from the past anyhow Mark.

Now, which doctor are you talking about? (just kidding)

Just took a virtual Google Maps tour of Deer Park area, Moorhead Dve, Pinto Way before I got totally bushed! I will return to this page another time and see if I can find the Cutty Sark that Sandra and I saw when we visited Greenwich. In the short time available to explore, we did walk through a pedestrian tunnel beneath the Thames ... felt really weird to be doing that. And thanks for the link to the Flood ... I must find out if that movie is available at our local video library - the clip looks sensational.

Well Ross, as the bones get weary I have to admit that there's an element of nostalgia in this post.
As for "which Doctor", maybe the reverie was driven in part whilst under the influence of a bonnie wee dram of "Dr Good" ... Hoch Mon!
