  • Michael Caine shops at Tescos.

    Couldn't resist it.

Ok it was probably built a bit after the film.

    They'd probably fall off .

Amazing that these things are still around. I never had one, but all the ones my mates had were rust buckets. The front subframe was liable to become detached from the rest of the car if you hit a humped-back bridge too fast.

Absolute classic - both the car and the film.

I had 3 they were great. Loved the 4 wheel drifts I used to get. Nothing has come close since for fun motoring.

I used to borrow my brothers & one day offered a lift to a young lady I worked with that was, shall we say, a little on the heavy side & coming down the other side of the humped bridge (going a little fast for the fun of it), was somewhat uncomfortable, almost scraping the whole car body on the road. Thanfully it stayed together in one piece.

Yes we had a Mini in the distant past.It was a bit dodgy at starting and had to be bump started sometimes, also the petrol gauge didn't work.
Well you guessed it I pushed it for about half a mile with my girlfriend(now wife)in the driving seat trying to get it to start only to find there was no petrol in it.

            DOH!!

            Thanks for the comments.
