    John,
I really like number 2. I was going to say you could almost invert the image till I saw your title. Very clever.

Beautiful images of a beautiful, if sometimes sinister location. No. 2 is a classic - well done

Lovely shots, including the reflection & title. It's certainly a place that can conjure up images of the past. Were you keeping an eye out for them Campbells?

Thanks for looking, all. I think Glencoe looks better with cloud rolling around the tops.

First time we stayed at the Clachaig it was owned by a McDonald, "we turn the glasses upside down here when a Dalrymple comes in". I think he was joking

Is the third one taken from 'the study' ???

It's interesting when there are still those that talk with passion as if it was yesterday's occurrence, although the emotions are stirred each time the details are seen or heard. I hope he was joking.

Thanks Mark & Paul. #3 was taken from a point a couple of hundred metres south of the road just east of Jimmy Saville's roadside cottage, at the foot of Gearr Aonach. The cottage is the small white one close to the Meeting of the Three Waters. For climbers of my vintage that cottage is known as 'Hamish's Cottage' after the famous climber Hamish McInnes, who lived there.
