or Tough Love of a Daddy Longlegs spider. He goes for a bit of hanky panky, but she is an incredibly passionate lover & gives him a love bite. Woops, oh well, may as well eat him now.
Taken with E30 at ISO 200 with Sigma 150 macro lens at f11 & twin FL36R flashes. Contrast & Sharpness has been upped to +1

Facinating images. I'm glad I'm not a spider, although metaphorically that's what happens in the human world, too!

Life can be tough, can't it Ross ... at twelve yrs old I had a 7 yr old sister who was terrified of spiders. She would pay me to remove daddy longlegs from her bedroom ceiling. Being the rotten kid I was I simply kept them bottled for a day or two before restoring them to her bedroom - Howard calls that "Economic Rationalism" ... I call it "Tough Love", mate!
btw, was that you I saw playing last night at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo?
No Mark,
but I was watching it on TV (for the sake of the British members, ABC TV broadcast the Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2010 on New Years Eve here). I would love to go but I haven't even been to the 2 tattoos that were performed in Sydney.
Since you asked (although tongue in cheek) here are a few photos of where I play Scottish fiddle (or Australian bush):

I look at my son & how he gets on with his sisters, but you sound like you were a charmer.

Ha ha, that's funny, but I guess there is some similarity with Rolf. Yeah, that's me.
Did you survive the heat from today OK, the 1/1/2011?
