  • Forum appearance changed

I logged on this evening to find the appearance of the forum has subtly changed. Those 3 cameras (together with the micro four thirds logos) also appear in each row at the intersect with the 'last post' column. Also today's posts is now called new posts. Hope that makes sense.
Is there a way of resetting the appearance, and if so is this under user control (I've checked FAQs but can't see anything relevant).

What browser are you using. Maybe it has updated & is giving you this difference.

It hasn't changed on my computer.

Like Zuiko, I've noticed no difference on the web-site layout

What does happen, is that when you open the forum site, and, prior to login, the 'TODAYS POSTS' is in the header.banner. Todays Posts covers 24 hours

Once logged in the TODAYS POSTS becomes 'NEW POSTS' from which you have to select a time span? Get all new posts, 15 minutes to 24 hours.

My login today appeared the same as the previous day?

It's back to normal now, I switched my iPad off over night and it's ok this morning. Most wierd.
          Thanks for your comments.

I sometimes get logged out for no obvious reason, then "New Posts" becomes "Today's Posts". Maybe that's what happened. It's not unique to this forum, summat to do with cookies I guess.

I think this may be to do with the site automatically "timing out" if you don't actually do anything (ie. interact with the server) for a while. I often get caught out when taking too long to compose a post. I now make a point of going to "Preview Post" every few minutes and it seems to fix that problem.

                Regards.

The forum is now fully micro 4/3. You are seeing the affect of an OSx to M4/3 adapter rather than a standard 4/3 view...

Safari does odd things sometimes. Mine seems to load web pages that I looked at weeks ago, just for a few seconds, before reverting to normal operation.
