  • Olympus Repair

Another thumbs up from me regarding my recent E-M5s holiday in Portugal.
I sent it back for the screen surround hairline crack, and an intermittent odd battery grip problem.
I also mentioned the increasing areas of missing black paint on the top plate.

The camera arrived back today looking pristine; delivery by DHL with a text message to my mobile yesterday evening offering alternative delivery to Ryman's stationers in Sheffield as a drop-off point. All I needed to do was to reply with a 9. Another text today saying the parcel would be delivered there after 15.00 and a further text saying it had arrived.

    Excellent service once again.
    Best Regards
    Bill

I'll add to this as Olympus did a good repair job on my E510 a while ago. Not as cheap as I'd have liked but they also did a full service and clean plus gave me a guarantee to cover everything not just the repair. So as close to getting a new camera as you could get.

      Re: Olympus Repair

Would you always still with the manufacture to do a repair on your camera?
I've normally always gone for a local repair, but since moving to the area im in now,
people have said to actually avoid them.
Had any mishaps with the couriers? A mate of mine used this camera repair site, but never found out if it was his DSLR, or his family small handheld :/
