Who has the most used camera?

Can anyone tell me how long I can expect my beloved E500 to work for, has olympus ever released a guide for the number of shutter actuations before failure.

Ok it's silly thought, but Mike's question made me wonder if there is anyone out there that has a high shutter count.

I can only lay claim to a mere 2018, but do use several cameras and being an old school film user don't tend to think of multi-sequence or auto bracketing

My E510 which I've owned since Nov 07 has a shutter count of 007347.

Slighty off topic but does anyone know what the other numbers and letters on page 2 mean?

Wish I knew what mine was. It's currently on it's second holiday to Portugal for re-repair of a stuck viewfinder blind.

Thats over the last two years and as a previous film user I tend to pick my shots rather than machine gun.

Oh well I have only got 7364 on mine, ......................so when my wife says
"youll wear that out playing with it all the time" I can say I have a way to go yet

But that aint going to get me a new one is it

My E-510 has 3500 (since march 08)
My E-500 before it died has 101658 (July 07 - March 08)

I believe my music and sports photography has something to do with the high shutter count. oops

A lot of 'burst' shooting I presume.

Still thats going some - I look forward to your 200K report on the E-3, sometime late next year I expect.
