  • Terrible Bird Photo for ID Please

    Whilst wandering round Hatfield Moor yesterday, we spotted a pair of these.
    I know the photo is lousy, but they were an awful long way away.
    Handheld Bigma@ 500mm 1/320 1000ISO and appreciably less than 10% of the frame.

    A good deal smaller than a Greylag, but looked a bit bigger than a mallard

    I think they are juvenile Shelducks.
