  • What's In Your Bag?

After my recent theft I've only started taking stock of the other things that have gone with my E-3/14-54/50-200. It's quite a list.
    1 Lowepro 160 AW bag
    1 67mm Kenko CPL
    1 58mm Kenko CPL
    1 67mm Hoya Pro UV
    1 58mm Hoya UV
    3 BLM1 batteries (2 Olympus)
1 8GB Sandisk Extreme CF Card
1 4GB Sandisk Extreme CF Card
    1 4GB Kingston CF Card
    1 Olympus RM-1 remote control
    1 ANOther cable release
    1 Sigma Achromatic Diopter
1 Calumet Tripod quick release plate
1 7dayshop Monopod quick release plate
    1 Camlink cleaning kit

It's quite a shopping list to replenish

It is certainly worth keeping a list of our gear so if we do suffer a theft, we have something to show the insurance company.

What's in my bag depends on what bag, what camera, and which lenses. It varies every time I go out. What is always in the bag, any bag, is a dog poo bag!

I have an Excel spreadsheet with everthing I have bought and the price I paid with serial numbers.

I have had most of the gear listed on my contents insurance policy.

That's something I still need to do.

That's a good idea - I think I'll do that sooner rather than later.

            Thanks for seeding that notion

I've worked hard to be this grumpy. It hasn't been easy at times but it's worth it.
