  • Desert Rose flower buds opening time-lapse (upgraded)

    This is a reshowing of the video but the last time I showed this the video it was from facebook & rather compressed but now it is in flickr (yes it does videos too ) with full detail.

    You will notice I manually changed the focus later in the sequence to get the near flower back in focus.

      Nice sequence..

      The light conditions were obviously changing throughout. I don't think that matters in this, but you can see why the people who do it for the TV use very controlled light wherever possible

          At least my sequence is real & not artificial. The changing light was from trees outside casting shadows (& a dirty window) as the sun progressed across. These flowers opened once the sun was on them, but could be done with lights too I guess.
